I finally made my first BBQ order. I have to tell you that I have NEVER TASTED ANYTHING SO TENDER! Unbelievable very

Update of Christmas day. Don, the turkey breasts were perfection!!! There were 13 at our house for dinner. The
roasted turkey that we had was ignored in favor of your smoked turkey. Just about all the ribs were gone, every family took
leftovers home. Darn good thing i ordered so much lol. Pulled pork will be for another time, when company shows up. Thanks so
much, will be ordering more. Love all your BBQ........

Comments: This is the best BBQ in Odessa, TX. Very tender, great smokey taste, it just melts in your
mouth. The BBQ sauce is so good, it's sweet with a little hot spicy taste at the end. It's excellent and is what BBQ is all about.

Served the brisket last night to my family. I needed a bigger family!! We also did the sausage since
my son in law is a sausage lover. Here's our feedback. Owesome, just simply awesome. The sausage was meaty and not fatty.
Just enough bite to let you enjoy it. The brisket smokey flavor was the envy of the neighborhood as they could smell it
from my bbq. You make a GOOD product.

Being from the San Joaquin Valley in sunny California where the “Tri-tip” barbeque is the rage I was
a bit skeptical when Don was telling me about his barbequed brisket from Texas. I had never heard of brisket and even
had Don send me a sketch of a cow to show me where the brisket came from versus the tri-tip. I thought that nothing
could beat a good Santa Maria style tri-tip, and I am sure that I told him so, but I agreed to try his brisket.
I invited eight of our friends over for dinner to sample the brisket and made a traditional barbeque meal to serve with it.
All day I was fretting if it was going to be edible or not and what would plan B be if it was horrible. I warmed the
meat in my electric roaster by placing it in the roaster and pouring a bottle of beer on the meat and then I let it warm
at 225 degrees for about four hours. Well it was time for dinner and I was all nerves. My husband started to cut the
meat and he said, “Oh, honey come and taste this meat” and I was hooked. Our dinner guests couldn’t get enough of the
brisket and let me tell you there was plenty of it. I don’t think that I will ever enjoy tri-tip as much again and will
keep the freezer stocked with Rustic Iron BBQ. Thanks Don for the great tasting experience and you have some loyal
customers made from California!

Everyone here that has tasted your brisket has the same comments; excellent! Best ever. My father in
law commented that it is the best brisket he had ever had………. As for the sauce, it is also excellent. All who have
tasted agreed that it was excellent. So far we've only used on burgers but it is now my favorite BBQ sauce.

DB has dropped off to us huge samples of his BBQ several times since they moved in across the street
from us and it doesn’t matter what it is they cook, brisket, sausage, chicken, turkey or whatever, it comes out so
delicious, it should probable be outlawed. The monstrous pit on wheels that they cook in is the ugliest piece of
equipment that I have ever seen with layers and compartments that seem to spread out everywhere. But something magic
happens inside that monstrosity and after hours (sometimes all night) of slow cooking over and around a wood fire, the
most wonderfully tasting and tender meat emerges. I must say that they have also developed this “rub” that goes on the
meat. I have been trying to wheedle the ingredients out of them for my own BBQing ever since the trek across the street
began, but they are as tight lipped as can be. No amount of crying, cajoling, threatening or guilt tripping will get
them to spill the beans, or, should I say the herbs and spices. Oh well, all this is to say that no matter who you are,
or where you are from, having some of this BBQ will provide you with something nigh on a spiritual experience.
